Dear Friends,

  Recreational Club Time Presses invites you to join the club

in a trip to the beautiful sequoia forest. We will stay at a nice

shady place Fir Group Camp in May 23 - 26, 2008.

  This campground is located near the Sequoia National Park

entrance in a scenic vicinity approximately 95 miles North-East

of Fresno, adjacent to Sequoia National Park.

  It is part of the Hume Lake Ranger District. Pictorial Hume Lake is

approximately 18 miles from the campground, offering swimming,

trout fishing, boating and hiking. There are some other lakes and

hiking opportunities in the area including ones in the Sequoia NP.

  This is a trip you should not miss!

 

  It is just 1/4 mile from the camp to gas, pay telephone, store and

showers.

      The services and amenities within the camp include:

  Fire Rings

  Potable Water

  Vault Toilets

                            Getting There:

        Fir Group Camp, CA (approximately 95 miles North-East of Fresno)

  From Fresno, go East on Highway 180 towards Kings Canyon

National Park.

  Take a Right on the General's Highway and travel approximately

10 miles South to a campground entrance on the Right.

      CAUTION:

  Bears are frequent the area. This is black bear country!

All food must be kept in the approved containers. There are

the bear boxes within the campground for the campers.

  No all-terrain or off-highway vehicle use in the campground.

  No chainsaw use.

  No firearms or fireworks.

  Pets must be leashed at all times.

 

      Prices and deadlines for this trip:

1. Bus trip - $215.00 for adults, $180.00 for kids up to 15 and seniors 65+

                      Deadline for a reservation - 05.13.2008

2. If you drive yourself - $40.00 for adults, $20.00 for kids up to 15 and

    seniors 65+
